Looking into hiring someone for an AI and machine learning project, but I do not have a technical background and the whole field seems overwhelming with all the different terms like LLMs, fine-tuning, RAG, and computer vision, so I am wondering how other non-technical business owners here approached hiring an AI specialist and what questions they asked to make sure they found someone who actually understood their needs and could deliver something useful rather than just throwing around buzzwords.
